Buc Days King & Queen Leadership Program

The Buc Days King & Queen Leadership Program is a 6-month training program designed for high school seniors.Participants will be selected in December through a competition consisting of Interview/Public Speaking and an Essay.  Twenty seniors will be selected to participate January through May in a tailored Dale Carnegie Training program while learning about civic and business development opportunities within the Coastal Bend.  This is in addition to being awarded collegiate scholarships.  Awards range from $2,000-$8,000.

You will see these young people at our signature events such as the Buc Days Night Parade and the Buc Days Junior Parade, but they are ambassadors throughout the community for all things Buc Days.  Crowning of Miss Buc Days & the Buc Days King occurred on Saturday, May 4, 2019.
